Segundo WITH (2006. p. 143) as Imagens são as primeiras coisas que vemos numa página. São rápidas, emocionais, instintivas e despertam curiosidade. Elas introduzem o observador na informação. Devem ser usadas com um propósito estratégico, não apenas para dividir texto ou deixar a página menos sem graça. Publicações são uma mescla – uma parceria – entre o visual e o verbal. As instituições públicas utilizam-se de imagens e textos para matérias informativos, com o propósito de educar e prevenir. Diante da quantidade de matérias impressos “informativo-educativo”, faz necessário uma revisão no conteúdo visual afim que aconteça o objetivo real destas, que é ser efetivamente lida e assimilada.

Como se dá a construção da visualidade no folder Paraná contra a dengue, publicada pela imprensa oficial do estado do Paraná, e distribuída nas principais cidades do estado, no início de 2011?

· Compreender a narrativa visual e como se dá a transmissão do conteúdo via imagem.
Específico
· Analisar no folder Paraná contra a dengue:
- A construção do discurso visual, presente no texto;
- A coerência da informação, entre texto e imagem;
- A aceitabilidade do folder pelos universitários e os moradores do jardim São Jorge - região norte da cidade de londrina, Paraná.

Metodologia
Para analisar o folder Paraná contra a dengue em sua construção do discurso visual, será feito um levantamento teórico acerca da ilustração e imagem, tendo como parâmetros a semiótica e o formalismo, com base bibliográfica segundo os pensamentos de Lucia Santaella em seu livro semiótica Aplicada, e o formalismo, com base em Princípios de forma e desenho de Wucius Wong no que diz respeito à explorar conceitos de semiótica como:
a) Formas (linha, ponto, cor, textura, dimensões, movimento, contraste, volume)
b) Expressão (temática e conteúdo)
c) Contexto
d) Concentração
e) Repetição
Com a intenção de analisar a coerência da informação texto e imagem, será feito um levantamento teórico com base biográfica do livro narrativas gráficas, de Will Eisner, tendo como referência as imagens como ferramentas narrativas, e o livro desenhando quadrinhos, de Scott Mccloud, onde irá ampliar o conhecimento sobre a arte seqüencial, dando clareza e força, sobre o modo de se usar, imagem e texto para que se intercomuniquem.
Para analisar a aceitabilidade do folder Paraná contra a dengue, será feita uma pesquisa de campo quantitativa, no campus da universidade Unopar, com 100 alunos, sobre os critérios de não restringir, classe social, curso, idade, sexo e profissão, e com 100 pessoas do jardim São Jorge região Norte de Londrina - Paraná, sobre os critérios de fazer com pessoas que não possuem ensino superior, com questões que remetem a clareza e assimilação do conteúdo, e a reação das pessoas em relação ao repasse ou descarte do folder.

With the intention to examine the consistency of text and image information will be made based on a theoretical book's biographical graphic narratives, Will Eisner, the reference images as narrative tools, and drawing comic book by Scott McCloud, which will increase knowledge about sequential art, with clarity and force, on how to use, image and text that intercommunicate.To analyze the acceptability of the folder Paraná against dengue will be a quantitative field research, Unopar on campus with 100 students on the criteria of not restricting, social class, course, age, sex and profession, and with 100 people in the garden of St George North London - Paraná, on the criteria to do with people who lack higher education, issues that relate to the clarity and assimilation of the content, and the reaction of people in relation to the transfer or disposal of the folder.
